When life feels busy, emotional, or overwhelming, it’s easy to get stuck in our heads. PQ reps (short for Positive Intelligence reps) are quick, simple practices that help bring us back into the present moment by using our senses. They’re not about fixing anything or pushing feelings away. Instead, they gently help us pause, calm our nervous system, and respond with more clarity and ease. What Are PQ Reps? PQ reps are tiny mindfulness moments we can use anywhere. They shift us from stress or reactivity into calm awareness by focusing on physical sensations. Some easy examples:

Sometimes the most powerful form of self-care is simply pausing… and being here. 🌿 Try This: A 1-Minute PQ Rep We can do this anywhere, anytime. 1. Pause Stop for a moment. Notice how you’re feeling without judging or trying to change anything. 2. Ground Gently rub your fingertips together or place both feet on the floor. 3. Focus Pay close attention to the physical sensation — the texture of your skin, the pressure of your feet, or your breath moving in and out. 4. Breathe Take 2–3 slow, natural breaths, keeping your attention on your sensations and noticing their impact. 5. Choose your response Notice how you feel now. A little calmer. A little more present.
