The Art of Jin Shin works with 26 so-called safety energy locations (or SELs), akin to acupressure sites, which are located symmetrically to the spine on each side of the body.
These are sites where energy is available in a highly concentrated form and, by holding these points with our hands, blockages can be easily released.
The 26 SELs are the ABC of the Art of Jin Shin.
You might want to hold each site on both sides simultaneously to get a sense of the experience each may evoke. Notice what happens under your hands and in your awareness as you hold these locations.
The invite is to learn these sites playfully. Eventually, they can become second nature. You'll likely have your favourites and you may notice some sites calling out to be held at different times. Do trust this intuitive wisdom of your body.
